Holden McNeil is a character played by Ben Affleck in three of Kevin Smith's films Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.
Chasing Amy[]
He falls in love with Alyssa Jones, a lesbian with an unusual past. Holden begins to resent Alyssa for her seedy sexual history. At the same time, tension develops at home with his friend and business partner Banky Edwards, whose possessive feelings towards Holden develop into a full-blown homosexual crush. Holden is also losing interest in the immature humor of his and Banky's collaborative comic, Bluntman and Chronic. These conflicts are the plot of Chasing Amy.
